Meet the October Pet-Of-The-Month winner Lisa! She is a silver calico American Longhair with a touch of Persian and a luxurious coat.
All about Lisa:
“Lisa’s feral mother had a litter of four female kittens and our friend, who runs a small cat rescue, was adopting them out to friends and other trusted people. We picked Lisa as part of a sibling pair with her sister Lila. The second we met Lisa, she ran right up to us and started licking our hands.
Lisa and Lila were put up for adoption at three months old and their mother was spayed and returned to her feral home in Sonoma County.”
Lisa’s Favorite activities:
Cuddling, eating, sleeping, being petted
Whirlwind Lisa, Li, Li-Li, Lisa the Lion
Lisa’s favorite food/snacks?
Science Diet Turkey and Chicken meals and Sure cat milk.
“Lisa is a very sweet and loving cat, though she is shy with strange people. She is very smart and intuitive and hides when she perceives we’re trying to do something she does not like. While she will register mild displeasure, she also seems to understand when people are trying to help her, and winds up cooperating with us and vet staff. She never holds a grudge or stays angry.
She has a trademark “Lisa Look” a wide-eyed plaintive stare she directs toward us when she wants attention.”
